Tartu Teoloogia Akadeemia (TTA) is an Estonian non-profit association based in Tartu. It runs the Hingehoiutelefon 126 spiritual care helpline and coordinates a nationwide network of volunteer and professional spiritual caregivers (hingehoidjad) who provide support in crises, grief, loneliness and existential questions, including in hospitals, elderly care homes and prisons. TTA has trained spiritual caregivers since 1993, offers supervision and seminars for caregivers, and operates the Hingehoiukeskus (Spiritual Care Centre) in Tartu, which provides counselling for a fee on a sliding basis. It is listed among organisations that accept tax-deductible donations in Estonia.
