Tellervo Edessalo säätiö is a Finnish foundation established in 2010 under the will of Tellervo Edessalo. It supports cancer research and cancer prevention financially, funds hospital facilities and treatment equipment related to cancer care, and supports patient association activities. It offers grants and research fellowships for cancer-related projects through open applications, with board decisions held several times a year. It does not grant aid to individuals on the basis of weak financial status or for professional postgraduate studies. The foundation also organises rehabilitation and recreation activities for cancer patients on the Edessalo island in Lake Päijänne, Finland, and holds summer courses and cruises for cancer patients and cancer association branches. Its office is in Jämsä.
