TREBUIE! Brăila is the Brăila branch of a national parents' organisation for children and adults with special needs, established in November 1996 by a group of parents. It provides accredited and licensed social services for children, young people and adults with severe intellectual disabilities who live with their families, including a day centre for children and young people (CATI) and a licensed day centre for adults (Sf. Teodora). Services include rehabilitation, life-skills training, vocational preparation, counselling, legal and social information, and a daily meal programme for families in difficulty. The organisation also runs integration and inclusion projects in schools and the community, including sports, arts and tourism activities, and volunteer programmes with students and local youth. It engages in advocacy on disability rights and social policy with local authorities and national networks, and runs fundraising events, campaigns and the 2% and 3.5% tax-redirection campaigns to finance its services. Its work is based in Brăila, Romania.
