Udruženje hrvatskih arhitekata

Founded in 1878, Udruženje hrvatskih arhitekata is a non-profit network based in Zagreb, Croatia working on arts & culture, community development.

The Udruženje hrvatskih arhitekata (UHA) is a voluntary, non-party professional association and umbrella body of eleven regional, county and city architects' societies in Croatia, based in Zagreb. It is described as a non-profit organisation. It coordinates the professional interests of architects across Croatia and works to promote quality architecture, good spatial practices and public engagement with the built environment. Its main activities include the annual national architecture awards and the Godišnja izložba exhibition, which the association has held since 1960; organising architectural and urban design competitions; publishing the journals Arhitektura and Čovjek i prostor; and running a digital archive of its publications. It also represents the profession in consultations on laws and regulations affecting architecture and spatial planning, and co-organises the Zagreb Salon of Architecture and Urbanism. Its governing bodies include an Assembly, a Presidency, a Control Committee and an Honour Court. Its work is supported by the City of Zagreb, the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media, and the Zaklada Kultura nova foundation.
