It also runs face-to-face and call-centre fundraising, and reports on the use of funds. Its emergency and development work is delivered through UNICEF's global programmes, covering child protection, nutrition, health, water and sanitation, and education, with a focus on children affected by conflict, disasters and poverty. The committee holds association status (kamu yararına çalışan dernek) in Turkey and its donations are eligible for tax exemption.
