URV Foundation

URV Foundation is a foundation based in Tarragona, Spain working on education, science & research, employment & skills.

The URV Foundation (Fundació URV) was created by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili to strengthen links between the university and society. It identifies and responds to socio-economic, cultural and university needs through project management, knowledge transfer, lifelong learning and innovation. Its Technology Transfer and Innovation Centre connects the university's research offer with companies and organisations and supports researchers on entrepreneurship and industrial and intellectual property matters. Its Lifelong Learning Centre offers continuing training to citizens, professionals and businesses, and it runs the URV Emprèn entrepreneurship initiative. Based in Tarragona and Reus, Catalonia, Spain.
