Founded in 2019, Viermie K is a non-profit network based in Porjus, Sweden working on arts & culture.
Viermie K is a Sami cultural policy network based in Sweden that works to strengthen the professional Sami cultural sector on the Swedish side of Sápmi. It organises cultural policy summits, the KulturSápmi meeting, cultural industry days and events with artists and institutions, and has produced research on the conditions for Sami culture. The network was founded in 2019 by Sami cultural organisations and was formalised as an economic association in December 2021. It receives multi-year operating grants from Kultur i Norr, and membership is open to organisations and individuals.
