Voyage-Partage

Founded in 1991, Voyage-Partage is a non-profit association based in Luzern, Switzerland working on international development, children & youth, religion & faith.

Voyage-Partage is a Swiss association that arranges multi-month volunteer placements abroad, usually in social and church-run projects run by religious orders and partner organisations in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Volunteers live in local communities, take part in daily life and receive preparation, individual support during the placement and follow-up afterwards, including reflection weekends with returnees. The association describes its approach as intercultural exchange on equal terms, aimed at mutual learning rather than voluntourism. It is rooted in Christian communities but open to participants of any or no faith. Founded in 1991 in western Switzerland, it is financed by church bodies, individual members and donations, and is based in Lucerne.
