AgroKrůt s.r.o. is an agricultural renewable energy company established in 1998. The company operates a modern biogas station that processes agricultural products including corn silage, sorghum, rye, sugar refinery byproducts, and agricultural processing waste. The biogas facility features two fermenters (2,600 m³ and 2,400 m³ volumes) operating at approximately 42°C with 80-day substrate retention periods. Biogas is analyzed for methane content and stored in foil tanks (2,100 m³ capacity) before combustion in cogeneration units. The plant generates 2.16 MW of electrical power and supplies heat for fermenter maintenance and agricultural product drying. Annual CO2 absorption from cultivated crops is approximately 10,000 tonnes. Organic fertilizer (separates and filtrates) containing nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, and trace elements is produced from corn digestion and certified for ecological agriculture use. The company also operates turkey farming facilities and leases warehouse space within the former collective farm complex in Bratčice.
