Founded in 1990, Aicia is a research center headquartered in Sevilla, Spain specializing in Solar, Wind, Hydrogen.

Aicia is a technology center accredited as a National and Regional Center of Innovation and Technology, affiliated with the School of Engineering at the University of Seville. The center conducts research and development across multiple renewable energy sectors including photovoltaic and thermal solar systems, wind energy, hydrogen generation and fuel cells, marine energy, biomass gasification, and energy storage technologies. Core competencies include power system modeling and control, grid integration of renewables, energy efficiency in buildings, and advanced electronics for power systems. The center has participated in European Framework Programs and national innovation initiatives, offering engineering products and services for the integration and optimization of renewable energy systems.
