Founded in 2018, Amnis Pura is a renewable energy company headquartered in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal specializing in Hydrogen, Biogas.

Amnis Pura is a Portuguese technology company spun off from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto in 2018. It develops and commercialises adsorption-based gas purification systems, including Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), vacuum PSA and Temperature Swing Adsorption (TSA). Its main focus is hydrogen purification from decentralised production processes such as ammonia cracking, steam reforming, waste-to-hydrogen and methane decomposition, and it also serves biogas upgrading and industrial waste gas recovery. The company covers the full value chain in-house, from system design and engineering to manufacturing, electrification, on-site commissioning and maintenance. It reports units operating in more than 10 countries across 4 continents and is partly owned by the industrial shareholder Witzenmann GmbH.
