Ampère CV is a cooperative energy company established to advance local ecological and social transition through renewable energy production. The cooperative operates as a member-owned entity where each cooperant holds one vote regardless of share quantity. Members invest in renewable energy projects, gaining ownership stakes in installations and the right to purchase green electricity at stable, fair prices. The cooperative follows the seven International Cooperative Alliance principles and reinvests profits into new projects while distributing modest dividends to members. Ampère partners with Ecopower for electricity supply to members and has invested in offshore wind capacity in the North Sea equivalent to approximately 5 turbines serving around 15,000 households.
