The Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany e.V. is a comprehensive association of companies and organizations from industry, research, and science dedicated to advancing sustainable aviation fuels and renewable energy solutions in aviation. Members span the entire value chain: universities, research institutes, equipment manufacturers, biorefinery operators, oil refineries, engine and aircraft manufacturers, government agencies, NGOs, airports, and airlines. The initiative advocates for renewable aviation fuel deployment to decarbonize aviation, supports ReFuelEU Aviation Regulation compliance, and works on establishing import structures for hydrogen derivatives, production capacities, and refinery infrastructure in Germany.
