Founded in 2012, Begn is a co-op headquartered in Neubulach, Germany with approximately 1-10 employees specializing in Solar, Biomass, Hydrogen.

Bürger-Energie-Genossenschaft Neubulach eG is a citizen-owned energy cooperative registered in 2012 with 30 founding members. The cooperative advises residents, businesses, and institutions on renewable energy solutions, sells and installs renewable energy products, and operates its own generation facilities. Core objectives include transitioning Neubulach to 100% renewable energy, promoting wind-gas and biomethane technologies, advancing household energy independence, and recovering waste into reusable resources and energy through solvolysis technology. The cooperative has installed four photovoltaic systems, two with energy storage, and focuses on optimizing self-consumption and grid independence through integrated storage solutions.
