Bioenergiegenossenschaft Kleinseelheim is a German energy cooperative established in 2017 to develop and operate a district heating network (Nahwärmenetz) powered by biomass. The cooperative constructed a heating plant at Sandweg 33 with associated underground piping infrastructure to supply residential buildings with renewable heating and hot water. The network became operational in October 2018 and initially served 25 buildings. Due to financial challenges, the cooperative sold the heating network and infrastructure to EAM EnergiePlus GmbH in August 2020 while retaining a microduct fiber optic network leased to Deutsche Telekom. The cooperative ended active business operations in November 2021 and was formally dissolved from the commercial register in February 2025.
