Founded in 2012, Biosphera Project is a private headquartered in Lugano, Switzerland specializing in Energy Storage.

Biosphera Project is an Italian-Swiss initiative founded to develop advanced residential modules that prioritize both environmental sustainability and human wellbeing. The project has evolved through four generations: Biosphera 1.0 (2014-2015) focused on modularity and construction processes; Biosphera 2.0 (2016-2017) emphasized energy autonomy; Biosphera Equilibrium (2018-2020) integrated regenerative design and sensory wellbeing; and Biosphera Genesis represents the fourth generation, designed as a sensory growth chamber for hospitality applications. Each module is energy net-positive, capable of producing six times more energy than required for advanced living standards. The project employs biophilia and sense design principles, combining medical and architectural disciplines to create healthful living environments. All modules undergo comprehensive monitoring of environmental quality, air quality, energy performance, and occupant physiological and psychological metrics. The initiative aims to develop and disseminate advanced construction protocols suitable for residential buildings, hospitality facilities, offices, hospitals, and other structures.
