Bluespring is a consultancy and project agency specializing in ocean renewable energy (ORE). Founded by Peter Scheijgrond with expertise spanning 25+ years in marine energy development, the company focuses on three key pillars: project development and innovation, standards and certification for marine energy converters, and education and training on sustainable blue economy practices. Services include technology assessment, bankable solution development, advancing innovations to Technology Readiness Level 9, environmental impact monitoring, and multi-disciplinary project management. The company partners with national and international universities and training partners to deliver e-learning courses and collaborative education on offshore renewable energy. Active in major European initiatives including Offshore For Sure, Offshore Proof, and EU FLORES projects.
