Brainergy Park Jülich is a strategic initiative by three municipalities (Jülich, Niederzier, and Titz) in collaboration with Kreis Düren to create a unique innovation and industrial area focused on the energy transition and new energy technologies. The park spans 52 hectares and features the Brainergy Hub, a ~9,700 m² innovation and incubation center. It provides development sites for energy industry startups and companies, supported by a unique research ecosystem including Forschungszentrum Jülich, FH Aachen's Solar Institute, and DLR. The park is being developed with cutting-edge sustainable infrastructure, including a LOW-Ex energy network providing over 90% CO2-neutral energy supply to buildings. The Startup Village Jülich within the park has won recognition including 2nd place at the 2025 German Coworking Prize for Best Newcomer.
