Bronsgroen cv is a recognized cooperative energy society operating under Belgian law that enables citizens to collectively invest in renewable energy infrastructure. The cooperative focuses on solar and wind energy projects across Limburg, with 750 member-shareholders. Members can purchase up to 200 shares at €125 each (maximum €25,000 investment). The cooperative operates on the principle of one vote per member regardless of share quantity. Bronsgroen reinvests portions of project revenues into socio-ecological initiatives addressing energy poverty and reducing utility costs for social organizations. The organization is recognized by Belgium's Ministry of Economic Affairs and is a member of REScoop, the federation of citizen renewable energy cooperatives in Belgium.
