Cascais Smart Pole is a renewable energy company headquartered in Cascais, Portugal specializing in Solar.
Cascais Smart Pole is an innovative living lab developed in collaboration between the Municipality of Cascais, NOVA SBE, and national and international companies. The project integrates renewable energy, urban agriculture, circular economy, sustainable mobility, and green spaces to achieve carbon neutrality. A Renewable Energy Community (CER) enables residents, companies, and NOVA SBE to collectively invest in photovoltaic panel installation for clean energy sharing. The project spans 4.2 hectares and includes residential, commercial, and public spaces designed to serve as a reference model for other cities. It incorporates carbon footprint calculation tools and the MobiCascais app for tracking sustainable transportation.
