Electrified Thermal Solutions pioneers zero-carbon industrial heat technology through its proprietary Joule Hive thermal battery system. The core innovation is an electrically conductive firebrick developed over nearly a decade at MIT, which enables direct conversion of electricity to ultra-high temperatures required for steel, cement, glass, and chemical manufacturing. The system achieves 95% energy storage efficiency and delivers industrial heat at costs competitive with or below natural gas, addressing approximately 25% of global greenhouse gas emissions from industrial heat. Backed by major industrials including Holcim, Vale, and ArcelorMittal, the company is scaling production and establishing European operations.
