The company aims to make hydrogen a competitive decarbonized energy carrier through innovative electrolyzer technology capable of achieving 70-80% efficiency, compared to current state-of-the-art 50-65%. The company has achieved a 14% efficiency improvement with its PEM electrolyzer in prototype testing. Element One Energy is part of the GCE Ocean Technology cluster and the HyValue research center, and has been selected for the GreenOffshoreTech programme and Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge.
