The Energieagentur Rhein-Sieg e.V. was founded in April 2018 by eight municipalities and the Rhein-Sieg district to advance regional climate protection. Today, all cities and municipalities in the district are members. Core activities include energy savings through building retrofits, user awareness raising for energy-conscious behavior, and renewable energy expansion.
