Energify, a product of CFT GmbH Compact Filter Technic, develops and manufactures steam rotation expander technology that efficiently converts pressure differences (starting from 0.5 bar) in steam networks into electrical energy. The patented technology uses a specially developed rotary vane expander mechanism adapted from their engineering heritage in mining and specialized industrial applications. Systems are compatible with saturated steam, wet steam, and superheated steam, with flexible power outputs from 10kW to 1,000kW. The company provides installation, commissioning, maintenance, and after-sales service throughout Europe. Their technology helps industrial customers reduce electricity costs, avoid surcharges (KWKG and §19 StromNEV levies), and meet EU energy efficiency requirements while supporting CO2 reduction goals.
