Founded in 1984, Energik is a ngo headquartered in Mechelen, Belgium specializing in Solar, Geothermal, Biomass.

Energik (established 1984, formerly known as a rational energy use organization) is a neutral, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Flemish industry in the transition toward sustainable, carbon-neutral energy systems. The organization has evolved from focusing on rational energy consumption to addressing comprehensive decarbonization goals. Energik operates multiple knowledge platforms addressing key industrial energy challenges: the Steam Platform (Stoomplatform) focusing on industrial steam electrification, the Cooling Platform (Koelplatform) addressing industrial refrigeration and heat pumps, and Energy Management focusing on organizational energy management practices. The association organizes regular seminars, study days, case study presentations, and networking events exploring technologies such as heat pumps, geothermal energy, solar thermal systems, electric boilers, and power-to-heat solutions. Energik also administers the annual Energy Manager of the Year award, recognizing industry leaders advancing energy transition objectives. The organization provides guidance on EU ETS regulations, energy cost management, industrial electrification strategies, and policy advocacy for achieving 2030 and 2050 climate targets.
