The initiative focuses on creating a shared data space for innovative, data-driven business models with standardized, efficient data exchange following European Gaia-X standards. It addresses the needs created by exponential growth in renewable energy generation plants, energy storage systems, and flexible energy consumers. The consortium includes 14 partners from energy, ICT, science, and standardization sectors, with TenneT as lead partner. Two initial use cases focus on cross-sectoral flexibility development and optimization of balancing group management quality.
