The EolJorat Sud project consists of 8 wind turbines (5 Enercon E138 EP3 E3 at 4.26 MW each and 3 Enercon E115 EP3 E3 at 4.2 MW each) located in the Jorat woods at 930m altitude. The wind farm is expected to produce 55 GWh annually, supplying approximately 25,000 households (about one-third of Lausanne's population). The project obtained cantonal construction permits and underwent public inquiry in June-July 2024.
