Founded in 2016, ETIP Bioenergy is a ngo headquartered in Belgium specializing in Biomass, Biogas.
ETIP Bioenergy was established in autumn 2016 as the successor to the European Biofuels Technology Platform. It operates as a public-private partnership platform that convenes stakeholders from industry, biomass production, research and technology development, engine and vehicle manufacturing, fuel distribution, government, and NGOs. The platform provides strategic direction on advanced biofuels and bioenergy research, development, and policy issues. It develops the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Bioenergy in Europe and operates through a Steering Committee (20-25 members) and multiple Working Groups focused on key areas of bioenergy innovation.
