EU Dream

About

Founded in 2023, EU Dream is a ngo headquartered in Belgium specializing in Solar, Wind, Energy Storage.

EU Dream is a European Union-funded research initiative supported by the Horizon Europe programme (agreement 101160614). The project brings together leading energy industry and research partners to design and implement innovative digital technologies that assist citizens in exploring digitalization possibilities and increasing control over energy use. The consortium operates six Living Labs across Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Greece, and Denmark, testing consumer-centric digital platforms, AI-based assistant tools, Natural Language Processing intermediators, and Digital Twin infrastructure. Key objectives include developing consumer-centric approaches to energy services, creating novel market mechanisms for energy and flexibility, advancing digital energy literacy, and demonstrating solutions at Technology Readiness Level 6-7. The project addresses energy poverty, vulnerable consumer groups, and demand-side flexibility while promoting interoperability and open strategic autonomy in the European energy sector.
