Founded in 2007, Fino2 is a renewable energy company headquartered in Baltic Sea, Germany specializing in Wind.

Fino2 is the second of three German research platforms (FINO program) located 33 kilometers north of Rügen island in the Baltic Sea, at the border of Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. Built in 2007, the platform measures meteorological and hydrographic data to support sustainable development of offshore wind farms. Research areas include meteorology, oceanography, ecology, and shipping traffic investigations. The platform consists of a mono pile, transition piece, platform deck, pier, and wind measurement mast. Operations and maintenance are managed by DNV GL since 2010.
