Foroeolicomarino is a dialogue platform founded in 2022 to facilitate collaboration among institutions, experts, associations, companies, and civil society on offshore wind energy development in Spain. Coordinated by the Spanish Wind Energy Association (AEE), the forum brings together diverse stakeholders to advance floating offshore wind strategy and regulatory implementation. It coordinates the Manifesto for Offshore Wind Development, signed by over 280 organizations, and advocates for necessary regulatory steps including the first auction in 2025. The forum addresses the alignment of offshore wind deployment with other maritime activities such as fishing and tourism, supporting Spain's objective to deploy 3 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030 as part of the broader 62 GW renewable target.
