Founded in 2003, ForWind is a ngo headquartered in Oldenburg, Germany specializing in Wind, Energy Storage, Hydrogen.

ForWind is a joint research center established in 2003 by the Universities of Oldenburg, Hannover, and Bremen (joined in 2009), supported by the Lower Saxony Ministry for Science and Culture. ForWind operates the WindLab facility in Oldenburg featuring a turbulent wind tunnel.
