France Gaz Renouvelables is a French non-profit association (loi 1901) founded in June 2018 to bring together initiatives around renewable gas, mainly biomethane from anaerobic digestion. It aims to build an ecosystem linking the agricultural and energy sectors to support territorial energy transition. The association represents its members in national and European consultations, publishes studies and position papers, and runs initiatives such as the Rendez-vous du Gaz Renouvelable and a RED II certification and emissions-tracking platform. It is governed by a board of representatives from eight founding partners.
