Founded in 2023, Aerleum is a limited company headquartered in Strasbourg, France specializing in Hydrogen.

Aerleum is a French company developing a single-reactor technology that captures CO2 from the atmosphere and converts it directly into synthetic fuels and chemicals, starting with e-methanol. The process uses green hydrogen and targets cost parity with fossil-based methanol for hard-to-abate sectors such as shipping, aviation, heavy transport and chemicals. The company was co-founded in 2023 out of the Marble venture studio, launched a lab in Strasbourg, and is moving from lab to pilot scale.
