The project includes five pilot demonstration sites across Ireland, Italy, France, and Spain, representing various European climates, building types, and soil conditions. GEOFIT addresses the fact that buildings account for 40% of Europe's energy consumption and a third of its CO2 emissions, offering innovative tools and methods for energy renovation.
