GP Energy is a renewable energy company focused on biomass-based green energy production. It entered the renewable sector in 1987 through its parent organisation with a biomass gasification plant. The company designs, manufactures, commissions and exports gasification systems, including dual fluidized bed and rice husk gasification plants, and works on carbon recycling, synthetic natural gas, sustainable aviation fuel and green hydrogen. It is working with Reliance Industries Ltd. on a demonstration plant for decentralised hydrogen production from biomass, and has reported completing 100 projects in India and abroad.
