Founded in 2015, Greenstat is a private headquartered in Bergen, Norway specializing in Wind, Solar, Hydrogen.

Greenstat is a Norwegian green energy company established in 2015 as a subsidiary of Christian Michelsen Research. The company develops, owns, and invests in renewable energy projects including wind power, solar power, and green hydrogen production. Greenstat aims to contribute to a zero-emission society through energy production and analysis of profitable green transition strategies. The company operates internationally, with a subsidiary in India (Greenstat Hydrogen India Pvt Ltd) focused on large-scale hydrogen production in Asia, supported by partnerships with major Indian energy companies including Indian Oil. Greenstat has received strategic investments and partnerships, including from Aker (which became the largest shareholder with a 60.5 MNOK investment) and FDE (a carbon-negative energy producer listed on the Paris Stock Exchange).
