Founded in 2022, H2CYL is a ngo headquartered in Burgos, Spain specializing in Hydrogen, Solar, Wind.
H2CYL is a non-profit association founded in 2022 by four founding partners: Hiperbaric, Aciturri, Desmasa, and Caja de Burgos Fundación Bancaria. The organization groups enterprises, technology centers, and research organizations from Castilla y León to coordinate efforts in hydrogen technologies. Its mission is to position the region as a leader in renewable energy generation and green hydrogen implementation as an economic driver. The association promotes hydrogen as a vector for energy transition and economic decarbonization, focusing on hydrogen production and consumption in industry, mobility, and residential sectors. H2CYL organizes events, conferences, webinars, and exhibitions to facilitate networking, knowledge transfer, and business development within the hydrogen ecosystem. The region has significant renewable generation capacity including 6,400 MW of installed wind power and over 1 GW of solar capacity, with substantial pipeline projects.
