Founded in 2024, Heattransplan is a private headquartered in Germany specializing in Energy Storage.

HeatTransPlan is a collaborative research project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (2024-2026, €2.21M). The project develops innovative solutions for capturing and utilizing waste heat from industrial processes through high-temperature heat pumps and phase change material storage systems (WSS type). It creates a digital decision support system to help small and medium-sized enterprises assess feasibility of waste heat recovery, optimize integration points, and reduce process heat CO2 emissions. The project combines technical innovation with process mining methods to reduce data collection costs and works with case study partners including König Metall GmbH and BENTELER Steel/Tube to validate solutions in real production environments.
