Founded in 2019, Helleheide is a renewable energy company headquartered in Oldenburg, Germany specializing in Solar, Energy Storage.

Helleheide is a future-oriented residential quarter under development on the Fliegerhorst site in Oldenburg. It spans approximately 5 hectares and is designed for residents of all ages and income groups. The quarter implements smart city technologies focusing on innovative energy supply, sustainable mobility, and community engagement. The energy system combines central and decentralized heat pumps with photovoltaic systems on building roofs. The ENaQ (Energetisches Nachbarschaftsquartier) project, the first major initiative, includes approximately 110 residential units and serves as a real-world laboratory for testing energy, building, housing, mobility, and community concepts. The quarter emphasizes low-car urban design with reduced parking ratios, attractive cycling networks, and good public transport connectivity.
