Founded in 2011, Hydrogen Europe Research is a ngo headquartered in Brussels, Belgium with approximately 10-50 employees specializing in Hydrogen.

Hydrogen Europe Research is a dynamic, non-profit international association composed of more than 150 universities and research & technology organisations from over 29 countries across Europe and beyond. Established to support excellence in European hydrogen and fuel cell research, the organisation operates as a member of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. The association's mission centres on four pillars: supporting excellence in European hydrogen and fuel cell research; promoting development of research and technology infrastructures to scale and accelerate innovation; fostering education and training to provide the hydrogen economy with skilled workforce; and ensuring sustainable development standards for a clean hydrogen ecosystem. The association is governed by a General Assembly and an Executive Board of 10 elected members, supported by a Secretariat of 5 full-time employees based in Brussels.
