The company operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the OR Tambo Special Economic Zone in Johannesburg, designated as a Strategic Infrastructure Project by the South African Parliament. IPM produces PGM catalysts, catalyst-coated membranes, and MEAs in configurable 3, 5, or 7-layer designs. The company has developed a hydrogen refuelling station and fuel cell electric vehicle deployment project near OR Tambo Airport, capable of fueling up to 800 vehicles using 7 tons per day of industrial hydrogen produced with solar energy, with potential to avoid 80,000 tons of CO2 annually.
