ITE (Instituto Tecnológico de la Energía) is a private, non-profit technology centre based in the Paterna Technology Park near Valencia, Spain, founded in 1994 with support from the Generalitat Valenciana through IVACE. It is a research centre associated with the Universitat Politècnica de València and part of REDIT. ITE focuses on the energy transition, including renewable energy, green hydrogen, batteries and energy storage, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, smart cities and circular economy. Its services include R&D&I project management, technology consulting, funding support, accredited laboratory testing and calibration, product certification, and training for companies. It serves more than 450 companies a year and states it has around 100 specialised professionals.
