iWin

Founded in 2019, iWin is a private company headquartered in Manno, Switzerland with approximately 11-50 employees specializing in Solar.

iWin develops integrated photovoltaic windows that transform building facades into active solar power generation systems. The company's patented solution integrates thin-film photovoltaic solar cells onto venetian blinds enclosed within an insulated glass unit. This allows buildings to produce renewable energy while maintaining thermal comfort, light control, and glare protection. iWin targets multi-story and highly glazed buildings worldwide, with particular focus on markets requiring summer solar shading. The company is developing technologies for both new construction and retrofitting existing buildings to achieve nearly zero-energy building standards.
