LIFE INTEXT is an EU-funded environmental project (LIFE18 ENV/ES/000233) focused on combating water scarcity in small communities through innovative hybrid treatment technologies. The project combines intensive and extensive water treatment methods with intelligent monitoring and control systems. Two technological platforms were established at the wastewater treatment station in Talavera de la Reina and at the CENTA research center in Carrión de los Céspedes, Spain. The project concluded on June 30 with comprehensive results documenting treatment efficacy, particularly regarding phosphorus removal and resource recovery from wastewater.
