Metry provides automated environmental data collection services for the real estate and energy efficiency sector. The platform connects to over 700 data sources across Europe, including utility providers, smart meters, solar panels, HVAC systems, and waste management services. Rather than developing energy-saving technologies itself, Metry acts as a data foundation, collecting and standardizing energy, water, and waste consumption data from any internet-connected source. The company enables building owners, property managers, ESG consultants, and facility managers to access quality-assured environmental data for reporting, analysis, and optimization without installing new hardware. Metry was founded at Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship in Gothenburg in 2012 and operates primarily across the Nordics and UK. In 2024, the company joined EVORA Global, a tech-enabled sustainability solutions provider.
