Namibia Hydrogen Fund Managers Limited is an infrastructure asset manager established in 2023 and licensed by the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority in 2024. It is a joint venture between Climate Fund Managers, the Environmental Investment Fund of Namibia (owned by the Government of Namibia), and Invest International (a Dutch development financing institution). The company manages the SDG Namibia One Fund, a USD 1 billion blended finance facility dedicated to incubating Namibia's green hydrogen sector and related infrastructure. It supports green hydrogen development across the entire value chain, including essential supporting infrastructure, leveraging expertise in renewable energy projects in emerging markets. The fund has secured EUR 25 million investment from the European Union and holds a 24% stake in Hyphen Hydrogen Energy's gigawatt-scale green hydrogen project, as well as a development funding agreement with HyIron for Africa's first green iron plant.
