Norbiolab is a government headquartered in Trondheim, Norway specializing in Biogas, Biomass, Other.
Norbiolab is Norway's only national research infrastructure dedicated to biorefinery research. It strengthens cooperation between stakeholders involved in developing climate- and environment-friendly processes for converting Norwegian land and sea-based biomass into biochemicals, biomaterials, and bioenergy products. The laboratory provides testing, demonstration, and R&D services on a commercial contract basis and through co-financed research projects. It is coordinated by RISE PFI in partnership with NTNU, SINTEF, Norwegian University of Life Sciences, and NIBIO, with primary focus on biofuel and energy sectors, expanding into food, feed, and biochemicals.
