Pinflow is a technology-driven company specializing in advanced flow electrochemistry solutions, founded in 2017 as a spin-off from the New Technologies Research Centre at the University of West Bohemia. The company develops, designs, and manufactures custom flow electrochemistry systems and equipment for redox flow batteries, electrolysers, fuel cells, and electrochemical reactors, spanning from laboratory test rigs and stacks to pilot and industrial-scale deployment. Pinflow offers systems ranging from 10 kWh to MWh capacity with customizable power, capacity, electrolyte, sensors, and control software. The company provides comprehensive services including chemical analysis of electrolytes using UV-Vis, FTIR, cyclic voltammetry, conductivity, viscosity, and diffusion testing; material benchmarking for membranes, electrodes, bipolar plates, and electrolytes; and custom system design and development. With over fourteen years of combined expertise in redox flow batteries, electrosynthesis, and fuel cells, Pinflow operates an 800 m² facility in Pilsen equipped for rapid prototyping, manufacturing, electrochemical laboratory work, and 80kW battery and pilot testing. The company serves academic institutions, research organizations, and industrial customers across 15+ countries.
