PVthin is a ngo headquartered in Belgium specializing in Solar.

PVthin is an international, not-for-profit association registered under Belgian law representing global leaders in the thin-film solar industry and broader value chain. The coalition encompasses members across the entire thin-film PV value chain, from raw material producers to manufacturing equipment providers and balance of system component suppliers. PVthin's mission is to strengthen global energy security and help create sustainable energy infrastructures by promoting thin-film photovoltaic technologies. The organization emphasizes the environmental advantages of thin-film PV, including smallest environmental footprint among photovoltaic technologies, low resource use, energy and material efficiency in manufacturing, and recyclability. PVthin maintains a Scientific Council of leading researchers in thin-film photovoltaics and actively engages in regulatory advocacy and industry dialogue to support market uptake of thin-film technologies.
